I’m Michael Glass, a passionate and versatile creative based in Jacksonville, Florida. With over a decade of experience in the advertising industry, I thrive on learning new skills and pushing creative boundaries.
Food photography is my true passion. I’ve been captivated by cameras and the art of visual storytelling since I was 15, when I first discovered digital photography and Adobe Photoshop. Over the years, I’ve expanded my expertise to include graphic and motion design, video production, and editing.
My agency work has allowed me to collaborate with a great roster of clients across diverse industries, from Finance and Healthcare to Livestock Medication and Racing Museums. Each project has broadened my perspective and sharpened my creative instincts.
As a lifelong learner, I’m always seeking new ways to grow. Right now, I’m preparing for my Part 107 Commercial Drone Certificate to further enhance my creative toolkit and expand into aerial photography and videography. I’m currently in the midst of designing my whole freelance website from scratch!

Built Content StudioPlanned, pitched, budgeted, and built (everything but the tiles) a showpiece content studio for Dalton. It’s a huge asset for the agency and they love to win over clients with it.

Metadata SolutionCreated a file database and metadata solution for social media assets on the agency servers that helps Social Media Managers to locate assets more efficiently by using Adobe Bridge.

Saved Money By Bringing Work In-HouseReduced reliance on freelancers, worked on pitches to bring clients from other departments (PR, Creative, etc.) in-house for content creation.

Regular Software Tips & WriteupsConducted regular software tip sessions for Adobe Photoshop and made mini-tuts for designers to refer to in the agency’s Creative Slack channel.

Recoupment of Hard CostsIn the process of reworking how videos are licensed and billed to clients. If the plan is approved, the agency stands to profit up to $21,000/yr while maintaining the same billing rate for stock footage—and it’ll be a lot simpler to find licensed footage and reconcile agency credit cards each month.

Revamped Social Media Content CalendarsDesigned dynamic Google Sheets for the Social Media department to improve content calendar management. The system enabled advanced tracking, streamlined sharing, and incorporated client comments and approvals, presenting a more polished and professional appearance tailored to each clients’ brand.

Streamlined Project BriefsCollaborated with the SVP of Social Media to refine the process of creating project briefs. Led brainstorming sessions to identify essential information, eliminate unnecessary details, and enhance clarity in communicating creative concepts, resulting in more effective and concise briefs.

Had the opportunity to ride alongside driver Leh Keen in his famous 911 Safari Car to reveal the Brumos Collection Grand Opening. This was a two day shoot with a team of four – myself, another videographer, and two members of the social media team.

One of three similar videos shot and edited for the Florida State Alliance of YMCAs to promote water safety. Got in the water with a GoPro and a video camera inside of a fish tank to get the shots!
It's Time to Play | Playland

Visited Playland in Rye, NY to capture footage of the different rides and attractions at the park. Despite lengthy discussions about capturing vertical-only video with the client in pre-producting meetings, they decided later that they would like to make a 16:9 video (which we did not capture). Thankfully, with some creative editing, I was able to make a 15″ sizzle by stacking the footage into a triptych.
Winning Pitch Video | Visit Valdosta

This is a video I quickly pulled together unprompted for Visit Valdosta on the morning of the pitch. I sent this to the pitch team to see if it would be helpful to include in their deck. Later, I was told that this piece was one of the strongest-hitting pieces from the presentation. We won the account. This piece continues to be requested for pitches on related accounts.
I, along with an Associate Creative Director and Account Supervisor, visited Valdosta for two days a few weeks prior to the pitch to meet local business owners and capture some run-and-gun video footage to use for a handful of other pitch assets.
